Small Stone:
The orange-ish glow of the light diffusing through the salt
lamp gives the room a warm cozy feel.
There are fewer boxes now and more furniture. Familiar books have been set on the
bookshelves but there are still empty spaces in the room waiting to be
filled. Three weeks ago this was the new
house I bought….tonight it’s my new home.
I spent most of the day unpacking boxes and organizing
books, beading supplies, sewing fabrics and threads, craft stuff and “craft”
stuff in the room I call “my studio.” Some boxes will stay unopened until I have my
project table. Other boxes will reside
in the closet until I decide where my sacred space will be. Yet today I did unwrap some of my Goddess
statues, my mortar and pestle and my salt lamp.
It has been a long journey getting here and I know She has been
traveling with me. So I light some
lavender incense and take a few moments to be silent, to be grateful, and to be
humble.
Blessed Be!
