Mindfulness Revisited

January….time to hibernate, time to detox, time to regroup.  It’s a new beginning and a time to let go of things that I no longer need or want.  It’s been a time for me to remember to “live in the moment.”    In 2013 I began writing a “small stone” every day in January, that is, very short piece of writing (prose or poetry) that precisely captures a fully-engaged moment.  Well, isn't that what I am trying to do, stay in the moment?  So now, year number 4, I guess it’s a tradition.  I’m still on my journey to live in the here and now, to experience life as it happens without judgments, and to practice compassion.  This is not an easy path but it is the path the Goddess calls me to follow.
