Crossroads:
what an all-encompassing concept.
When you are
at the crossroads you pause, contemplating, and making choices.
When you are
at the crossroads you pause and leave something there, something that no longer
benefits you, something you need to let go of and not look back on.
When you are
at the crossroads you pause to leave Her an offering. You may be asking or
expressing gratitude.
When you are
at the crossroads you pause. This gives
you time to focus, to pray, to state intentions, to breathe, to listen. Being at the crossroads puts you in a place
of power, of high energy, and you make the choice which direction to go.
And here I
stand at the crossroads, pausing, knowing that I will need to choose whether to
keep going or change direction.
And here I
stand at the crossroads, pausing, knowing that I need to let go of my fear and crippling
insecurity; both rational and irrational.
And here I
stand at the crossroads, pausing, and asking Her for strength and resiliency. But I also stand here, pausing, in
reverence, with tears of thankfulness trickling down my cheeks. I realize I have so very much to share.
And here I
stand at the crossroads, pausing, knowing that my next step, in whatever
direction I choose, is my new beginning!
This road may have some sharp turns and potholes but with the Goddess the
scenery will always be extraordinary.
(Dedicated
to Hecate, Goddess of the Crossroads)
